Uruguay: The Republic of Uruguay launched Geographic Viewer Beta version, a website for Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI). It is now available at idevisualizador.agesic.gub.uy. It allows visualising spatial information including vector maps, satellite imagery and orthophotos, as well as non-spatial information linked to them.
The Geographic Viewer is part of the creation of IDE Uruguay (the Uruguayan Spatial Data Infrastructure), which aims to facilitate the effective and efficient production, distribution and use of geographic information required in a community or between communities. The Viewer is built with input from several agencies.
