Kigali: Europe’s largest hotel chain Radisson Hotels has been appointed to manage the multi-million dollar Kigali Hotel and Convention Centre that is scheduled to open next year, its chief executive announced.
Kurt Ritter, the Chief Executive Officer of Rezidor, the company that owns the Radisson hotel chain made the announcement Tuesday saying the firm would offer top-notch service to the ever growing tourism clientele in Rwanda.
"This signing symbolises the new optimism investors have in Rwanda, and further underlines our strong commitment to Africa,” said Ritter in a statement.
“…this emerging and promising continent is one of our key areas for future business development."
Leopold Mukama, managing director of Ultimate Concepts, the owners and developers of the site, located in the up-scale Kacyiru area, just next to Parliament, welcomed the Radisson announcement.
